we have a truck at work with a vortec 4.3 and when it hits the rev limiter at 5600 its smooth as can be. but when my vortec 7.4 hits it at 55-5600 it shuts down hard and bangs back up. is there anyway to smooth it out. or can i find a pcm from another 4.3 and change the vin code without having to buy a new license.
