So ive had a LC1 in my truck for about 2 years i guess.. been workin fine, couple weeks ago it started just jumping around on the numbers.
So i unplugged it and did a free air calibration. Didnt help.

I bought the DB series gauge with a new LC1 and hooked it up the other night and i cant get it ro read right for crap.. Ive tried to program it like the manual says and its maxed out at 20afr. and 4.1? Volts..
So i just quit messin with it before it got too pissed off.

I also got the Cyberdyne Fuel Pressure gauge.. Its wayyy too bright at night time even with it dimmed. Not to mention its reading 7-8psi low.. Checked it with a manual gauge.

And what really got me is the other night i was goin to flash a tune back on my truck. (pulled 4* timing to spray at the track) so i was flashing my original tune back and went to start it up. It fired off but struggled and died. I waited a minute and tried it again, Same thing. Fired it up again and got on the throttle, it revved to 2000 and spit and sputtered and died out.

Got fustrated so i tried to flash the tune i just had on there. Same thing. I kept tryin different tunes and finally one of them worked. Now i cant get neither of my widebands to work to check my AFR..

Im goin to email Innovate and cyberdyne to try to get some of this straightened out..

Anyway, rant over.

SOURCES:

1. When you install the LC1, the software has a very detailed PDF explaining how to set it up. Under

2. This site has a doc in the documents section for LC1 install.

3. TAQUICKNESS has a doc in his sig.

Highly recommend reviewing them again.

Might I also recommend spot checking w/the LMWorks software to see what it says your A/F is. Just hook up "their" serial cable to the OUT line of the LC1 and the other end to your laptop and start the program. If you don't have DB9 ports on your laptop, get a USB to DB9 adapter.

I'm guessing your not setup yet.

A friend of mine lives on E. Coast. The fuel costs are increasing there due to Houston supplies of fuel/oil and the hurricane.

I followed the Tutorial from EFI Live. Also read the manual on the LMlogworks.. I'm goin to rewire it and hook it up with the Serial like u said...

As long as you program Channel 1 using LMProgrammer correct, the serial OUTput will work as expected. The serial cable is pretty easy to make if you have soldiering gun equip. Or, you could use the LogWorks cable and setup a DB9 to RJ14 connector. I chose to make a straight cable RJ14 to 8mm stereo. Don't forget not to chop up the stock cable. You might need it later to program the LC1 as it tends to reset itself when its hot, electrical surges, etc.
