Just thought I'd share my brief experience, I recently decided to update my original 2000 software on my T/A to a newer '02 OS and cal., and I couldn't be happier! For one thing the actual tune took me maybe 1/3rd the time it had taken me in previous attempts with the 2000 software, granted alot of that comes from experience gained from tinerking with the maps before, but none the less I found the '02 OS to behave alot more 'predictable' and produce an easier product to work with. Nailed down a complete VE tune including WOT in less than 2hrs (I know some of you can do this in all of 13 mins. but I'm a n00b! :hihi: ) vs. the previous 4+, and smoothed out the MAF transition in less than 1 additional hour.

Thank you EFI Live guys for giving is this incredibly powerful and flexible tool, gotta love upgradability!! And an even biger thanks to you guys in the forum with us for your paitence and lending your expertise to the rest of us!

Careful there, you cannot upgrade to Honda/Acura systems to match your new stuff, so don't even ask------------

I too am thinking of upgrading my OS to the 2002. Mine is a 2000 right now (Camaro).
I have a question though....can I go back to the 2000 OS if I felt like I wanted to?? Or once you upgrade you are stuck with it??

Thanks,
Michael
