is there a way to compare files with different operating systems? i have a file from an 03 that i want to put the transmission tune on an o4, same trans. any idea of doing it without having to do it individually one by one?

There is no way to compare files of different os's as you found out.

What you can do how ever, it get a stock tune of the same os as the file you want the trans tune from and then create a scrip of the differences between the tunes. Then open your tune you want to have the trans tune on, and run the scrip on it. Since it will probable change more then just the trans files, save it with a new name. Then reopen your original tune again as the main tune and the new tune you just created with the proper trans tables as the compared tune. Then just so a trans segment swap to your tune and save. Now you will have your same tune as before, only with the trans tables you want from the other tune. Hope I didn't loose you in all that, lol.
