I'm using the latest BB release for almost a month. V8.1, version 2.5.20, bootblock 2.5.08 BB Logging has worked flawless, LBZ and LMM flashing no problems. Tune tool V7.5.4 (build 66) Scan tool (build 67)

Today I tried to flash the stock tune back to a GEN III LS1 licensed ECM.
EFI gave a message that the serial # was missing and needed to do a full flash. What :bs: is this? I was able to do the flash and almost rendered the ECM useless. I can only do a full on this ECM now and take about 10. min to do.

I tries to do a Full reflash on LLY ECM that has DSP5 OS flashed to it, back to stock, licenced already. I.m getting the same message the ECM has no Serial # and need to do a full flash to renumber the serial number.

Any flashes I've done to the LB7s. The ECMs have been corrupt, missing vin # and serial #. Caused by a GM tech II reflash I think?

Here's the LLY info

VIN 1GCHK29284E383028
