V8.1 questions

Just finished the updates. That was an adventure.
Is the scan and tune tools still going to say 7.5? I can't find anywhere where there's a 8.1 scanner or tune tool.

7.5 remains the tune and default scan tool.
Black box logging is the function of 8.1. Unless you need the black box (stand alone) V2 logging you will not need to work with 8.1 or it's PIDs etc. In fact, and more directly: IMO, if you do not specifically need BBL let the Beta sort out, particularly if you rely 7.5 functionality for serious laptop tuning.

Thanks. Didn't know if there were other fixes that went along with the 8.1 update. Or any other features besides the BBL.
