Any one knows why the stock tune of the OS09381344 has these values on this cal

Gear Value
First Gear 8.935000
Second Gear 4.804000
Third Gear 3.060000
Fourth Gear 2.140000

And the OS of 2002 models has the values
LABELS Shift Stabilization Ratios (Ratio)
Gear Value
First Gear 3.059000
Second Gear 1.625000
Third Gear 1.000000
Fourth Gear 0.696000

I know that is for limiting propouses,but what is the diferences?
