I found a 2002 Tahoe that I am considering buying. The guy had it tuned by Ed Wright. We had somebody download the tune with a workshop version, but it says that it is unknown. I guess I could just buy a new PCM, but is there any way to be able to read/edit the existing tune?

If you can download it then it is not locked.

After you get the "unsupported" message, look at the Operating System number that is displayed by EFILive. To be supported, the operating system number needs to have a matching *.cal file in the folder: Program Files\EFILive\V7\Calibrations

We are adding new ones all the time.
Have you got the latest set of *.cal files from this page:
http://www.efilive.com/downloads/downloads_os.html
You only need the GM stock calibrations. The others are all for EFILive custom calibrations.

If your operating system number is not in the latest set of downloadable *.cal files, save and send the *.tun file, that you read from yuor PCM to support@efilive.com and we will attempt to add support for that PCM.

Paul

I don't see the OS, so I guess I need to email it to you.

We know that one, a rare(ish) 2002 O.S, it will be supported by the time the full v7.3 is released.
