Any reason when I look at my maps after logging....why they're all orange/red???

Subscribing.
I definately preferred the cell shading in the older builds as an errant cell was easily identified at a glance.( Not that I make a habit of doing warp speed with an eye on the laptop:))

I see the same thing... later versions show less colour when value range is small.

Hiding empty cells can cause that. But I can see from the display that you have not got "hide empty cells" set. So I'm not sure what might be causing it.
Can you email me (paul@efilive.com) the log file that produces the problem with a link to this thread?

You can create more differentiation by choosing colors in Map Properties.

yeah I've noticed the same deal also in the latest releases. I'd be interested in the solution

It was investigated prior to this latest release but it is a complicated fix and did not make it into the V7.5.5 release. It's on the whiteboard list of things that need attention.
