Did the flash go to completion...?

Was it a cal only flash or a full flash...?

When flashing was complete, did you turn the ignition key to off and wait at least 15 seconds...?

Are you certain that you flashed the correct file...?

What vehicle is it...?

it said it completed, and it was a calibration only flash, i have an 08 lmm, and i think maybe one of the ecm selector;s was set to an lbz but not sure. it just turns over and doesnt fire

Did you check if any DTC's are set to maybe help narrow down what the issue might be?
Did it take the stock tune ok?
If still no go, maybe something has been messed up in the theft part of the ECM. Try setting G0301 to Disable and G0308 to None, both parameters are located in the System > VATS section. Then flash that in and see if it starts.

Cheers,
Ross

ok i'll try that, also when it reflashes it doesnt reboot like it normally does, i might have had a file set for an LBZ and i didnt know it, would that effect it?

Open the tuning tool and select "Read PCM Calibrations"...When that process is over, try reflashing your stock tune using normal procedures...

Can you copy the log text that is printed during flashing and paste it here...

(you may have to go into options and disable the 15 second countdown timer)

(( you would still have to wait 15 seconds after a flash ))

Try flashing again...

Make sure nothing interrupts the bus or power (i.e. no dome light, no radio, no On-Star).

ok that didnt work, but it doesnt reboot the right way anymore. usually i dont have to have the key in the on position, but now i do.
The key must be in the On position to reflash, I am sure there is one 12V power feed to the ECM that is not present unless it is in the On pos. Was that the problem?

Cheers,
Ross
