I have a buddy that wants me to tune his 06 GTO, and quite honestly I dont even know where to start on a gasser. (diesel more fuel=more air.) I have heard you need wide band 02 Sensors, correct? What parameters need be modded in order to gain power?

You should really get a WBO2 sensor (just need 1) to tune that GTO properly. Being an 06, its actually a LS2 using the E40 ECM and a T42 TCM and as such you need a FlashScan V2 to read the E40 (dont know if you have a V1 or V2).

Need to adjust the airflow table based on logged data and adjust spark timing. Read over the tutorials in the tune tool and look in the Gen IV forum on here for the E40 AutoVE stuff.

liftitlly,
You can get any wideband as long as it has a 0-5v output. One of the more popular widebands is Innovative LC-1 They run under $200 without a gauge, and if your just tuning with it you wouldn't need a gauge. AND TAQuickness has a serial cable to connect it to the V2. Here is a link. (http://forum.efilive.com/showthread.php?p=76610#post76610)

Personally I have a AEM wideband because I wanted a gauge to match the other two gauges on the pillar. :D

Thanks,
