Installing the updated Version of EFILive corrected the problem. Thanks For All the Help

VIN # 2GTEK638071697432

OS # 12614088

Calibration # 12614085

Calibration Definition File (*.cal)

Name 12614088.calz

Version 7.21

So I got my supercharger on and want to tune it only to find I can flash and read tunes but Flashscan won't read or log any data.

It connects and validates the PIDS but doesn't display data or log it. Upon this first happening I was using a older build (#62 or something close). So I've now upgraded to build #66 and still Flashscan isn't working. Does it have some thing to do with the cal files... Help it feels dangerous driving without being able to see knock ect..

Thanks

Dennis

Dennis,

Did you select pids...?

Post some pics of your various tabs.

I think so.... I've attached a excel spreadsheet with 4 screen shots. PID's, Data, Console & Dashboard.

Any help would be appreciated.:cucumber:

Thanks

I reflashed my OS from a Chevy PU to a GMC Denali on my ECM and didn't reflash the TCM. The TCM has a different reported VIN than the ECM. Could that be the problem?

Fudge...

On the Console tab, it says "Interface not detected"...

Check your connections...

Try Fast Stream mode (edit: I see it already is).

I pm'd tech support.

Yes, tried both the red and yellow buttons. Same thing with both, nada...

Summary so far:
- Build 66,
- Connects and validates pids,
- Pids selected on PIDs tab, show up on Data tab,
- Does not log pids.

Did you enter a VIN/OS id to match what was flashed in...?
Did you select the controller to match the PCM/ECM...?

After you try to start logging PIDs and you get the "Interface not detected" message, please manually generate an error report by selecting File->Generate error report. Then save and email the report to me at [email protected]. Add a link to this thread so I know what it is about, thanks.
