I am wondering if this is because I have a HPT 3 bar OS on my PCM. Hopefully someone can help me out with this.

Error that I get is:

Bootloader Rejected

controller has returned to normal operation, please retry operation.

Data transfer interrupted

I unchecked the high speed and tried again and it did the same thing. Is there something that I am doing wrong or is it because of the HPT tune.

Isn't that a HPT custom tune...?

If so, I don't think you'll be able to read it or write over it.

I pm'd tech support.

Thanks, Yes it is a HPT Custom tune that is why I am trying to get rid of it cause my car will not start with this $250 custom mail order tune....LOL

Sounds like the PCM is locked, which is quite common when a PCM has a custom OS installed. If you speak to the company that did the tune for you they should be able to return the PCM to stock and in doing so that will also unlock the PCM.

Cheers,
Ross
