LOL that dont seem right. maybe 512k....?

Flash seems to go thru correct.

as well as mine. i think it doesnt show the corect count on the counter

Is the file compressed? GM .bin's come as .bin but are compressed (gzip IIRC). Can't use Winzip, I use 7zip, right click on any file, regardless of extension and tell it to expand it. See if that makes it 512k. My V6 stuff all did that just fine. But it is a one segment .bin....

That is correct, it would make sense that it is an even 512K but it's not, much like a cal flash on an LB7 is 96K (not 128K), it just relates to the area of data that we are actually writing to.

Would be 512k for cal and OS? Or just not a full fill on the flash?

The LMM uses a 2Mb external flash plus an internal CPU flash of 448K.
Cal flash is only assigned 504K of space in the LMM.
Now, if you have some time to kill, do a pass through flash with a TechII on one of these. I think it's about a 25 minute process.
