Trying to stop a DTC 040 & 041 from tuning the check engine light on my o.s7083 LMM. It comes up as EGR codes and I do have a EGR plate installed and also have lost the remote start on my truck. Truck fires and shuts right down. Can anyone help with the fix?

Thanks Nick.

I just looked at my tune, which is stock minus DPF, and it shows under DTC Enables {C6001}: (My OS is 8594)

P041D,P041C X: Not Reported, No MIL
P040D,P040C X: Not Reported, No MIL

P2457 "Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooling System Perfomance" X: Not Reported, No MIL

P2033 - P2032 EGT Sensor 2 X: Not Reported, No MIL

Along with the P2033, I set P0546 - P0545 to X: Not Reported, No MIL
because I have the sensors unplugged.

If I pull DTC using the Flashscan V2, I still get the P2033, P0545, and P2455, but no MIL light. If I pull DTCs using the Banks PDA, I get no codes. Go figure.

What do you have those DTC Enables set at in your tune?

OK..so I just looked at my 7083o.s and it will not let see or turn the 040 & 041 off. Then I opened up a 8594o.s and you are able to pull it up and turn them off.

So, I did have someone tell me that the truck may need to get re flashed but I also am trying to fix my truck and 1 other with the same issue and 7083o.s. I don't know if we can get that truck re-flashed.

Next question, what are we going to loose if we are going to loose rather gain by re-flashing to a 8594o.s? Performance?

Well, mine got the reflash in August as per the recall notice for the no-start issue, that I didn't have. I heard that this reflash was the one that would start logging CVNs and stuff, could be wrong though. After getting the reflash, I noticed that the truck would go longer before regenerating. I still had that thing on then. :angel_innocent: Other than that, I don't know what you would loose/gain performance wise.

OK... I remember we talked about that when you where here. I need to look into that now also to see what way I want to go.

Thanks Ronnie!!

I thought all LMM's logged cvn's, even the early 07 OS. Can somebody verify this?

Nick (nor-cal) can you give me a call when you get time. I had same issue, got part of it fixed. I think it may work for you. Curious on what tune your running, I am running the same OS and have not had the re-flash, nor will I :)

We'll post up what we find out lol.

Any update on this? I'm having a similar issue right now. I have codes P2033, P2455, and P0546 that keep popping up despite being set to X:Not Reported, No MIL. Anyone have any help for me on why these codes will not go away?

the 2033 and 0546 will stay in background. There will be a new efi update coming out that will fix it. I tried it out and all seemed well.

I know this is an old Thread, but I just got these codes P0128, P2457, P2033, P2455, P0546.
When I scan it says cant display.
One thing I did wrong was, I had the truck running, Then just cleared them.
Is there a prob, or is there something I need to do, Truck seems to be running fine 212,000 on it.
Thanks John

Thanks JohnIf you are trying to display these on V2 (i.e. BBx mode), did you configure V2 for this...?

Man... I have know idea. The last time I pulled the monitor out of the box was 2009 when I flashed my Tk. Lol. So I couldn't tell you what I did back then.
Today I had the SEL light come on, so got home left it running and plugged it in went to The trouble codes and hit recent codes or something like that. And it show the codes but said could not display... Etc.
I'm not very good on computers unless I'm on Craig's list or eBay. Haha. Ok well I'm a bit better than that but have no clue on what BBx is.
Sorry bout that. If you want to call me if it's easer I'll send you my #.
Thanks john.
