RE: Scanning

Hey All

I have a 04.5 lly and I have no problem scanning my unit. I have a buddy with a 06 LBZ and his check engine light comes on now and then and I was attempting to scan the codes ( also I have V1) and it gives me a 23$ diagnostic error. I have choosen the LBZ ecm so what am I doing wrong?

You cannot read/log/tune LBZs with a V1, it does not support the GM CAN protocol. You need a V2 to connect to his truck.
