I updated to 7.5.5 and now when I try to flash a tune in my nova it says conection lost . check all conections.

then I do it and it goes through real fast and then say's battery power to high or to low.

I connected my v2 to the obd2 port and tried to go to pids and it gave me an error saying no Options txt.

I went into efi explorer and configured files where I copied the top section and pasted into the lower section. Now it seems to be working right but not sure.

I updated my firmware but not boot blocker. what is the latest release for bootblocker?

The car I am trying to read and flash is my project car.1964 chevyII Nova with a ls1.

I can read my trans am tune fine, I then went and read my Nova fine. When I try to flash my Nova It gives me the connection lost or like I said earlier, it runs through real fast and says complete but the green bar and time never shows that it went through. It also has a section in red that says battery to high or to low.

Any pointers?

Hi Aint Skeered,

What firmware and bootblock is in your V2 (open EFILive Explorer (EE), goto firmware tab)...?

You need to copy the Options.txt file to the V2 Config tab using EE... Options.txt is new and replaces Options.ini... if you had any particular pids you were logging, you have to copy/replace them into the new file (be careful to not disturb other stuff in the new file, and keep your pid channel count at 24 or less, i.e. no more than 4 packets).

Which PCM are you using in your '64 Nova...?

Joe I plugged in this moring before coming to work and the bootblock was back from april but in efi explorer I went to look at the firmware and it was from april of 08. (cant recall the number) but I opened efi control panel and updated my v2 to bootblock 2.06.02
and firmware to 2.06.05

It will be a week before I can plug into the car to see if it helped. is this what is supposed to be there?

Current versions:
Bootblock 2.06.02
Firmware 2.06.05

So you do have the current versions.

Post your Options.ini file.

What PCM and OS are you running with on your Nova...?

I am back on a tow boat now. I am running 02 z28 op system in a truck pcm i believe.

I have reason to believe my pcm is bad, we are getting spark and getting fuel to the rails but not through the injectors. I changed injectors last night and still not getting fuel. When I get back home I am going to get a noid light to check the injector pulse. Is there a way to do that with efi while cranking?

My boot block was not up to date last night when I tried to flash it so this may have fixxed it when I updated this morning.

I set anti theft to none. Is there something else to turn off?
