As many of you already know, the GTO has a stock shift light built into the dash from the factory. Problem is that it is disabled from the factory. I want to figure out how to turn it on. There is only 1 company that offers it but you have to ship your guage pod to do it. Anything EFI may be able to do?

I think you're out of luck - the engine ECM doesn't control that light. You'll have to send it in as the gauge pod has it's own programmer that just the one guy has.

So it isn't like the Vettes where you can turn the shift light on with EFI and then run wires from the PCM to a LED?

haha, I figured you would say that. I'm courious cause I wanna do an LED shift light inside a vent or something, not really looking to use the stock one.
