2008 Silverado (E38) (T42) 6.0ltr/4L70E (L76) OS-12617631-

I disabled my AFM so I could check my MPG without the help of AFM and I saw what I needed, I re-flashed the ECM to enable AFM and it won't work even with a full Flash....Do I need a different(new) ECM? :frown: Any Ideas?
Maybe there's a AFM fuse?

I've tried disconnecting the battery and re-flashing like 5 times(2 Full Flashes)

If EFI Live disabled AFM it should enable it right?.....

Certainly, if all you did was to Enable / Disable the AFM using the option (I'm assuming) then there is no technical reason it should not come back to life when re-enabled.

Did you try flashing a file back from before you turned it off (like an older tune).

Cheers,
Ross

Yes, I got it to work...I had disabled the COT protection because of overly rich AFR condition at WOT and apparently AFM won't enable if COT is disabled...So i re-enable COT and it's been working ever since

Thanks for letting us all know, I would never have thought of that.
