Alright, I just got flashscan so bear with me.. lol
I"ve read the tutorials and searched.. etc.. but i've got a couple of questions.
To run the 01 OS in my car, first I do a full reflash to EFIlive OS 01250001.. then I reflash the calibrations for GM OS 12202088 correct?
So, now I should have a stock 01 OS for a LS1 T56 Firebird.
Here are a couple of questions:
How will the difference in fuel and timing affect my car? I noticed the Main VE in my 99 OS have larger values than the 01 OS, is this because they did away with the backup VE table? Should I copy and paste the values over from the main VE in the 99 OS to the 01 OS?
Same thing with timing.. I noticed my 99 OS has more timing as well (high octane table) should I just leave the 01 values the same until I start tuning or paste the other values over?
I"m sure there are more things that are different but I just noticed these at a glance.
Any feedback would be great.. I wanna switch this thing over so I can really start tuning on it.. starting with idle and autotune.
Thanks!
Chris
