Updated my efilive v2 tonight (bootblock & firmware) and decided to download the auto tune from my ve ssv (previously chipmaster's ve) anyway i changed what i thought was the right calibration for manual mode upshift. and flashed the calibration back in after licensing the tcm.
went for a drive, adjusted tune again then went to flash tcm changes and it came back saying the tcm didnt have a serial number.
it did this multiple times with me turning the ignition off etc. eventually i did a re download of the tcm tune and was able to modify and upload further changes.
Is this a known issue or a once off? coz downloading the full tcm takes fraking ages.
p.s can say im happy i didnt need to buy a license for the auto.
