Guys, the V8 platform is basically like us starting from scratch again, really!, Things we are including in to V8 cannot be done on the V7 platform so it's not like we can just 'borrow' code from V7 to save time.
We aren't Microsoft, we don't have rooms full of programmers, we are all multitasking and have lives to lead to, sometime in 2009 is about it.

I'm not 'that' much of a computer guy, I couldn't care less about Linux :angel_innocent: (or Macs!), the world ended with the Amiga as far as I am concerned :sly:
I am sure it will stay a low priority for Paul, don't worry.

Come on Macca I am sure you would rather Bosch support first, just think of all the business you would have then.

All our models are supported already as far as I know.. Plus Im thinking for myself with the standalone stuff. Be great to just walk up to a car with only my V2 and an OBDII cable and read/flash in tunes.

BBF will be something "special"... edit the file on your desktop (or Linux enterprise server... when Paul gets it going on Linux) and then take V2 all by itself to car(s) and perform flashing.
