When trying to select the PID's on the V2 It just flashes (very quickly....too quickly) Options text not found, and goes back to the main screen. What am I missing here?

Options.txt is located here: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\EFILive\V8\Config

Using EFILive Explorer (EE) copy Options.txt from that folder (upper pane) to the Config tab (lower pane)...

and also copy the .pmm file for your PCM/ECM.

O.k. That seemed to get me to the list of .pmm's but when I select my .pmm file it just flashes back to the top of the list. Do I need to be connected to the vehicle for this?

The V2 should not be connected to the vehicle while doing that.
Try to format the config area with the EFILIVE explorer, then copy all the files in the top pane down to the bottom again.

What version of Firmware/bootloader are you running?

Bootblock 2.06.02, firmware 2.06.05

I did all the transfer off line. I was referring to selecting the vehicle for the PID's, does the vehicle need to be connected for that? I'll try reformatting and reselecting.

Edit: Reformatting seemed to take care of the selection issue! Thanks!!!!

I don't think I have ever tried selecting the PID list without the PCM connected. Give it a try with the PCM connected and see if it works.

I would try to confirm your issue, but I don't have a USB cable with me.

After reformatting the config section, it allowed me to select my vehicle. So that took care of that!:)

Thanks!

Perfect! Thanks!

Is there anything that tells you what the options settings should be in the V2? Particularly

Auto PID setting Y/N
AD Filter

I am using the analog1 input, for my wideband input, and am not seeing the data displayed in V2, but I get it in my scan tool on the laptop.

Enable A/D PIDs to see the analog inputs (also see my below).
Set Auto PID to Y if you want V2 to remember the next selected pid list.
Set AD Filter to 0 or 1.
Set PIDs/LCD to 4 if you want large font.

To see your wideband AFR, you will have to add a conversion to the end of Options.txt (and to see the AFR you, need to press ENTER while doing BBL)...

see my Options.txt (attached), look at the last 2 lines under "PID Custom Units" (near the end of file):

-, AD1, AFR_WB1, V, AFR, 3, 1.000000, 11.0000000, N
-, AD2, AFR_WB2, V, AFR, 3, 1.000000, 11.0000000, N

my wideband AFR equation is AFR_WB1 = AD1 * 1.0 + 11.0.

Innovate LC-1

Innovate LC-1
V2 supports serial [digital] AFR using the LC-1's comm link, this avoids any analog offset problems;
