i cant even remotely begin to install it. i keep getting a box that says
"the requested operation requires elevation. win32 error 740"
i have to put my computer w. xp in the shop, because half the screen gas dissappeared. and i just now started tuning on the car:doh2::help2:

Greg, I pm'd tech support.
I am not sure what is wrong, but make sure you are logged in as the administrator (need full privileges to install software on Vista).

im logged in as the admin. not real sure.
i searched, but came up empty handed.
did you pm tech support? thats the way i read the above

Like Joe says it is likely going to be a permissions issue (see this thread also http://forum.efilive.com/showthread.php?t=8707&highlight=740). Vista enforces security on the 'C:\Program Files' folder so unless you're an administrative user you don't have permissions -or perhaps if Vista User Access Control (UAC) is enabled.

Turns out it was the UAC needed turned off.
I will try and connect to a car tommorrow and see what she does. (fingers crossed)
The tech support on here is so quick!!!
