I am new to the forum and havent dove in to the tuning matrix just yet (well some over/underspeed tuning) LOL. anyway I have a newly built LS3 on a 98 OS which will be swapped within the next 10 days, Hopefully. I built a N20 motor with a 220/244 .620 cam, lightened valvetrain 42lbs and a spider intake and accufab tb. I run a maf and iat and havent touched the ve. The car runs really well with the exception of some minor idle issues, but i know there's more in it. Obviously the OS is holding me back.

My idle issue was that it dropped off fast from 2500+rpm and the iac would struggle to recover idle after it fell 100-300 past desired idle. Somethings it woulds stall but most times the iac manages to recover.

Anyone care to tell me where im screwing up? Anyway I hope everyone has a healthy and prosperous New Year!

3fingas, welcome and Happy New Year...

Try the idle tutorial: showthread.php?t=4661 (http://forum.efilive.com/showthread.php?t=4661)

You may want to consider upgrading your OS to the 2002 F-body 12212156 OS... this has a single VE table, easier tuning and other benefits, including jumping to COS5 which has N20 tables... but to do this requires re-pinning the PCM connectors... several people have done this with very good results.
