having some prob. w/truck...intermitenly will only crank and run for 10-12 seconds then just die and will not crank for 5-10 min. after i hit the primer 5-6 times..any help would be greatly appreciated..thanks

When was the last time you changed your fuel filter? Is there a leak when you prime?

6000-7000 on filter from gm no leaks that i can tell no smell of diesel either

I ask because it sounds like you are loosing your prime some how.

thats what mech. at work tell me...one said they were havin prob. w/injectors leaking back to cylinders

but it does this one day then may go 2-3 days before it happens again runs like normal in between and after it does crank
