Anyone know if V2 flashscan required for E38 ECM? I'm currently using Flashscan FSP V1.2 with Flash Scan v7.5.5 build 78. Do i need to upgade to V2 to be able to scan and/or flash a E38 ECM?

Yes :)
Check the supported vehicle table on the main site for what v1 and v2 supports.
Basically any CAN stuff needs v2

Yes, you need a V2... Look at the supported vehicles page on the EFI Live website

Is this the famous Philip Long from "Philip Long's 2-step"?

http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/philip_long_2-step/index.html

For those out of the loop, a 2-step allows you to build boost while sitting still (on turbocharged vehicles) and gets you massive launching torque all while possibly shortening the life of your turbochargers. Used in drag racing to get off the line quickly.

If so, how is it going? Quite interesting to see you here. What have you been up to lately?
