Ok, I bought the Acer Aspire one mini laptop and I just finished downloading efi live software and v8.1 software. Now I plug my v2 into it and try to configure files in EFI explorer and nothing happens. My v2 is a blank screen but is powered up.

I keep getting a message telling me that I have to install drivers but I am not sure on where to get them.

Can any one help ?:help2:

Did you actually install the software?

When you install the software is should install the drivers in the process.

If you did and still have issues the drivers are on your computer here:

C:\Program Files\EFILive\Drivers\EFILive\Win-2K-XP-Vista

or here if you are running a 64bit OS

C:\Program Files (x86)\EFILive\Drivers\EFILive\Win-2K-XP-Vista

If you have installed and have the issue when it asks for drivers point it to that folder.

RTFM :doh2:

I did the updates from the down load page of the main efi live sight and also went in after having truble and downloaded the usb drivers.

Now that I downloaded the drivers what do I have to do?? I plug my v2 in and it tells me driver instillation is incomplete.

Thanks Joe, you save my ass every time. If you ever come around Baton Rouge or New Orleans Louisiana, Pm me because I will buy you many beers:cheers:

By the way Joe, I got the blue Acer. It takes a little getting used to the small keyboard but other then that it is a nice little unit. color matches the paint on my Trans Am almost perfect.
