hi, this is weird, if i leave the v2 conected to the truck ,in the engine cal. i will see at the bottom a red file that belongs to electronic throtel control with

b2308
b2702
but when i disconect it is gone
and it gives me dead spots on the o2 sensors
here is my log and tune
can someone tell me what is up?

JG,

You will see the ETC red folder whenever the software is connected to FlashScan V1 Commercial or FlashScan V2.

When not connected to FlashScan, the red ETC folder doesn't show up to prevent you from editing it... if you mis-edit the ETC parameters and then flash the PCM, you may end up with PCM problems (I understand it may disable itself if the ETC parameters are incorrect).

I do not believe the ETC parameters would cause your O2 sensors to flatline...

You are running in OLSD (closed loop trimming is disabled, MAF is disabled)...
so the PCM is ignoring the O2 sensors and they will flatline...
flatline low = lean
flatline high = rich

From the O2 voltages I see you are too lean during WOT and you get knock...
this is bad, richen up your WOT fueling (do AutoVE, or push up B3647 in the last 3 or 4 columns (80kPa-100kPa), and make B3618 look like these columns.

Also your IFR table seem too low... this makes the PCM open the injectors longer, which is why your INJDC is high and hits 100%...
Your IFR is set at 2.914 g/s (23.127 lb/hr) which seems to small;
Also, your IFR being flat requires a manifold-referenced FPR... is this what you have...?

You may need measure the rail pressure and recalculate the IFR table, and then adjust the VE table using the AutoVE procedure and a wideband O2/AFR sensor.

(your HO2Sx1 voltages indicate that your VE table may be off).

Additionally/Regardless, from your MAF response it seems to me that your MAF may be dirty and/or problematic, but because you are in SD the PCM is ignoring the MAF (cofirmed by the presence of DTC P0103); so just keep this in mind when/if you go back to MAF'd.

In the scantool, goto the PIDs tab, at the bottom it says 25 channels...
for 25 or more channels the update is 5 frames/second or less...

get the channel count to 24 or less (remove one pid, like MAFREQ)...
this speeds up the update to 10 frames/second.

Also, since you are in OLSD, you do don't have to log these:
LONGFT 1/2
FUELSYS
MAF
MAFFREQ
Thats 8 channels occupied right there.

Do include these (these are 2 channels each):
GM.DYNAIR
GM.DYNCYLAIR_DMA

If you have auto trans then also include (1 channel each):
GEAR
TCCMODE

Keep HO2S11 and HO2S21, these give a coarse view of AFR.

Make sure the channel count is 24 or less.

Also, in the transmission segment, set the throttle kickdown tables to 100% all across, and adjust any part throttle downshifting thru the PT downshift tables...
you might also want put a wider spread between the PT upshift and PT downshift tables by lowering the PT downshift tables a little (5 mph spread minimum).

WOW!!!! i think i will have to read your reply over a few times because i am just blown away will such indepth info 1000 thanks!!

the truck is a 96 k1500 (363000kms)
all stock
auto, rebuilt with hardened output shaft 4l60e, corvete servos,larger clutch/bands, 2800 stall,b&m shift kit
2-bar,just installed upgraded injectors(mfi)
vortec super charger , 6# pulley
nos was using 125 shot before super charger was installed and have not used it yet(will not use it untill have this problen resolved)

and that is it for now

so thanks and i will follow your instructions soon and let everyone watching learn somthing with me.

hi, well i changed a few things (mostly trany) and i love it!!!!!
i don't think that there is any room for improvment but,,,, if you can see any let me know what you think
still have not used a wide band to fine tune or a corrected VE for this set up but like i said,, it runs good!
the log is taken on a dirt snow covered job site road and in 4x4

Hi John,

Watch out for that knocking...

What modifications do you have...?
What is your maximum boost pressure (psi)...?
What peak TQ and HP are you looking at...?
Are your injectors big enough (INJDC is hitting 100%)...?

I'll look over 17A some more.

it works great
post a log later
had to gut my cats for now cause they were pluged

here is a log,
first launch is in 2 wheel and toooo much spin,
next luanch is in 4x4 and now i think that my injectors are too small,
need a marine intake
can some one help me get one?
