I recently read the ECM calibration data from a 2008 4.8L (LY2??) and the TCM calibration data. The first thing I noticed was the gear ratios did not match. The ECM displays 3.42 and a tire size of 335" while the TCM displays 3.73 and tire size of 6". this information is obvoisly incorrect but a second read displayed the same. Is it possible other data is corupted? What am I over looking??

I have attached both stock tunes, any help is greatly appreciated

Hi Stewy,

It's not corrupted, those values are generally not critical, sounds odd, but just because they have 3.73 in the TCM probably means that they scaled back some other figures to match, or they are simply not used and have been left at some default setting, don't be concerned about it.

We have had some troubles with the tire size displays on the late model vehicles, just when we think it's sorted another vehicle throws a curve ball at us. I'll download your files to take a look.

Cheers,
Ross
