VZ 5.7 Wait N Go [Archive]

Does anyone know where the throttle delay on startup un a VZ 5.7 lies?
When first started the car will run but you cannot open the throttle until the dash finishes its system check. Im guessing that the ETC is somehow tied into the BCM or Dash. Its not really a problem more a pain in the ass (god forbid you ever robbed a bank and wanted a fast gettaway lol). The VZ 5.7 is the only car ive ever come across where this happens(you have to wait at least 15 seconds on initial startup before you can drive away.
Any ideas?

I have never heard of this before, I have no idea what could be causing that.

If it's only after a cold start ( IE. first start of the day ) try B3306 and B3306.

It is pretty much all the time. The cars done it since new. You start it and put your foot down and wait then woosh you go. Only seems to be the VZ 5.7 with ETC. But it is linked to the dash somehow as , as soon as the system check is over on the dash away it goes:cheers:
