I've been attempting to upgrade my OS from the current 99 to 02. After the full reflash it indicated missing serial number , but it created one. I also noticed vin is missing?? I've tried full re-flash but to no avail. What did I miss, screw-up, etc???

BTW- I decided to do reinstall original OS because of missing vin, everything looked ok. I then did a read of PCM and vin still indicates it's missing. N/A000000000000.... :help2:

Thanks for the reply. I did further research on the forum and I came across one of your old posts with the exact same help. I can do this from the bi-directional controls, right?

You can use the Tune tool, look for the "key" icon at the top of the screen or "Ctrl-Home"
