DTC 023 or 033

Circuit Description

The BCM monitors the state of the RAP output by checking the voltage level on the accessory voltage input.

Conditions for Running the DTC

The BCM will be ready to test for and set this DTC when:

Conditions for Setting the DTC

The BCM detects one of the following incorrect voltage conditions on the BCM program input:

Action Taken When the DTC Sets
Conditions for Clearing the DTC

The DTC will clear when the fault is corrected and the DTC memory clearing procedure is completed. Refer to On-Board Diagnostic Features in Body Control System.

Diagnostic Aids

If the only DTC that flashes is a history code, DTC 33, the problem is intermittent. Refer to Testing for Electrical Intermittents in Wiring Systems.
