Adjusting fuel tank measurements?

Just wondering - with the F-Body fuel tank being notriously off from the actual display (first quarter on the display equals something like 1/3 or more of the fuel tank), it would be nice to have a more accurate representation of the actual content - I noticed that EFILive has some PIDs that seem to contain the conversion between sensor input and equivalent on the display - has anybody tried to "tune" the numbers accordingly? Like, fill in a gallon, read the value, put in the next, and so on ...!?
