It takes me 30 channels to log what I want and seems to work ok. Instructions say not to go over 24. Why, what's the down side?

It takes me 30 channels to log what I want and seems to work ok. Instructions say not to go over 24. Why, what's the down side?
I think it has to do with sampling rate. The volume of data causes the rate to be slow and the data might not all display accurately.
That would be my guess on the answer.

You can logg as many as you like, but you won't get the 10 frames per second for anything over the 24 ...
24 channels fits into 1 frame which can be logged at 10 frame/sec; every pid is updated each frame (10 times/sec).
25-48 channels requires 2 frames, every pid is updated every 2 frames (5 times/sec).
49-72 channels requires 3 frames, every pid is updated every 3 frames (3.333 times/sec).
73-96 channels requires 4 frames, every pid is updated every 4 frames (2.5 times/sec).
