Lly ecm issues
I have a 04.5 lly truck. Was running fine until one day the boost wasnt there. Like the turbo was stuck. So I did the checks and got ready to pull the turbo off but thought id look at vane position first. Actual vane position was at 100% all the time. Swap vane position sensors and nothing changes. Move the sensor by hand. Nothing changes. Used a jumper harness to move the turbo with voltage and the exhaust sound changes but the sensor never value never changes.
Truck had a ppe on it. So I went to remove the ppe and it said failure. I called ppe they said the ecm was corrupt and nothing could be done.
Changed ecm with a spare I had but when I went to turn vats off it now gives me the no data received error.
Has anyone fixed either of these issues without having to send off the ecm? I have bench force device to bench flash it. If someone has any ideas id like to try before I send them off or buy another.
Thanks

This is typically an easy fix on the bench. You wont get standard diagnostic tools to interact with a corrupted LLY ecm. Let me know if you want us to help. We can also reset your PPE. Pro tip, check your battery health. Low main bus voltage is the main cause of what you are describing.
