CKP Relearn

On the way back from the store, check engine light came on. Scanned with EFILive and got the CKP Relearn code, tried to relearn with EFILive and no success.

Any errors or symptoms that you can pass on?

I've never done it, byt from what I recall reading there are some pretty strick requirements to perform the procedure.

Also, are you running the latest available build of the software? I recall an update from this a while back as well if I recall correctly.

I'm using version 7.3.3 with flashscan version 2. Followed directions according to the manual. The injectors don't cut out like the manual states. Tried multiple times. There is no errors when doing the relearn.

I did it last summer with V1 and it worked. You have to rev it pretty high as I remember.

I think the deceleration they are referring to is hitting the rev limiter.

I tried pretty much everything, hitting the rev limiter. How long do I have to let the engine idle after revving the engine before shutting off?

Are you applying the brakes during the procedure..?
Is the PCM seeing the brake switch state bit...?

I applied the brakes, is there anyway to view the brake switch thru EFILive?
