The vehicle is a '91 S-10 Blazer 4x4. Engine is a '96 4.3 Black Box PCM that I converted to '0411 that was out of a 2001 S-10. The trans is a 700r4! The former OS has been operating fine but I'm edging up to COS5 via the 12212156 OS for forced induction using a Procharger with all fueling issues already addressed-(marine manifold, injectors, pumps).
I didn't see the "Preserve CASE data'" items...would that cause the vehicle not to start? I will next reflash my original back in to start over next...reluctantly!
Good times!

Wow ... that's a custom vehicle. I'm concerned that the 12212156 OS was somehow corrupted ... should have been "Low Res" is the vehicle platform options. The 2001 tune you had been running ... was it a manual trans tune (given the 700R4) ?
Asking these questions to see if I have anything squirreled away in my little database that may help out.
No matter whether you did / did not preserve the CASE data - the engine should still start and run - it will just set a DTC.

Right! The engine should start! The vehicle has been running with the OS for the electronic automatic and I had "tuned" the new 12212156 tune with manual settings from a 2002 manual camaro with a 12212156. I haven't been able to find a manual tune with the old OS 12208322 so that has held me back until now. Still hung up so far though. Corrupt file might be though...

Try this tune ... set the speedometer gear to 40 teeth (assuming that's what your 700R4 is using).
