Embedding STATE/TSTATE pids in calc pid:
showthread.php?t=12081
showthread.php?p=20356
i.e. any of these should work (e.g. bit 5 in STATE04):
IFF(RAW({GM.STATE04}) & 32, 1, 0)
(RAW({GM.STATE04}) & 32) >> 5
RAW({GM.STATE04}) / 32 & 1
RAW({GM.STATE04}) >> 5 & 1
Note that 32 = 2^5.
It's not so much the equation im having problems with its where everything goes in the in the calc_pids.txt file.
what units should I use?
i made the units a factor and it soped giveing me errors but and show up in the pids and is avalable and i selected it, but still doesnt show up in data tab and I cant select it for a gauge, chart or status.
I had already read throught most of the links (posts) and also the scan tool documentation but im still not finding the answer
you guys are a great help though.
V8H,
Use the units "None"... try this (see attached).
Cheers
Joe
Please take note that some of us have found that the DFCO bit in STATE05 doesn't seem to work in the LS1 PCM...
you will have to then use some other criteria for your BEN filter (e.g. TP < 1% and MAP < 25kPa, or something).
I put other to include all of the above.
E40 specific stuff.
Basic tune to adjust tire size, gear change, speed & rev limiter removal. A glossary would be nice describing parameters to be altered.
