Is there anything like this for the E40 ??
Thanx

There is a standard COS for boost available for the E40 (at least the Vette). Open up an E40 tune file with your V2 plugged in, click the Upgrade OS tab at the top, then click the COS upgrade and Apply the upgrade. Set the appropriate tables so they're not OOR, then full flash it.
Well I pretty much have that part figured out, I'm trying to run N2O
on a E40 LS2.
In that case no, these was never any N20 type OS developed. Ahh, the E40, the ECM that nobody loves :wavetowel2:
Your easiest route is to run a dry system in front of the MAF (the PCM sees extra airflow and so adds more fuel), you will need to modify the MAF, PE, and spark tables.
You will have to check and verify with someone who is regularly running nitrous on an E40.
Well I apologize if this is the incorrect location for this discussion. The E40 Has Ethanol tables, is there a way to trigger them ?
Thanx

I might be wrong, but from memory there was never any Flex Fuel cars using the E40, so I suspect although they are there GM maybe never ticked all the boxes to actually use them. As for triggering them, to do it the way we did on the E38/E67 custom OS was a modification to the OS itself, it's not a GM function.
I believe you forgot to mention the P10 in there too haha!
L31Sleeper, I would do either what joe mentioned or put a switch and relay on the IAT sensor. When you want to spray N2O, flip the switch, then press the spray button. Setup the lowest IAT tables to pull however much timing you want when spraying, basically using the IAT table as a spark modifier. As for fuel, not sure if you need to use a wet system or what, but thats how Id do spark.
Hi guys, we've been doing a lot of dual map E67 setups for late model CTS-Vs, but recently I had a customer come in with a very late 2012 model (T43 auto) which doesn't seem to be supported. The FAQ indicates we could back date to a 2010 calibration, but I'm very wary of doing so as we've had some customers come in with some issues when they've changed operating systems on either the tranny or the ECU to an older version.
Are there any plans to support the newer ECU files, or is backdating going to be the only way?
Thanks
Yes I can convert the 2012/13 OS's to support that function.
Last time I worked on them was April 2012, so I guess there has been a couple of newer OS's come out that have general support but no switching OS.
However, just looking at what OS's we have converted it was just the CTSV that missed out, the ZR1 & ZL1 2012 OS's got done.
I'll add it to the list, I need to regen all the E38 & E67 cals shortly so I'll include it with that.
Ross.. Sent you an email... I hope you include a lot of the other tables I requested.
Thanks
Mmm, I don't know Chris, I am pretty tied up with 2013 E78 & E39A mapping at the moment.
I know there are no feature requests...........but a nitrous trigger would be really AWESOME !!!
Close a circuit to ground, activate on Throttle Position and an RPM window.
Back in the day you would just put a micro switch on the throttle linkage and a MSD RPM
window switch. Now that everything is drive by wire you have to get 5v activation box......
and where do you get a tach signal for the RPM box ??
Thanx
