im trying to connect the 30-2310 in a friends car to my v2
i have the RJ12 phone plug 6p6c . which wire from the AEM goes to what pin on the v2 ( rj12 plug )
there's only a gray , white, and a brown coming from the AEM unit

Hi Bob,
You really need the grey wire (serial comms Tx data), you might have to open the AEM case and look inside to see if it can be added, or talk with AEM.

NO we couldn't get any one of the 3 units to work with serial ,( NOT FOUND ) we bought techedge 2J9 units instead they come with a proper cable ( if you ask for it ) with a RJ45 plug one end to just plug in to the TECHEDGE UNITQuote:

i don't know of anybody that has got the 30-2310 to work with a v2 ,the 30-4100 ( the one with a gage ) seams to , i got one to work about 2 years ago
