Are there any symptomps on your car or are these just on without any problems?
Hey guys Newbie to the tuning scene here. Ive got a 2007 HSV CLUBSPORT LS2 Ive done a cam upgrade just recently with a VCM710 232°/234° 112 plus the usual upgrades you do with a cam like springs, lifters etc. I just flashed the stock tune back into the PCM with Techline SPS now at 1st it started great idled good etc but now ive taken it for a drive it went into limp mode and after a scan its given me those 2 codes and im now sitting at servo wondering how to go about fixing it. I did add a bit of timing, and increased desired idle speed too 1000rpm to help with the drop in rpm when getting off throttle and all was good then 10 minutes into a drive its done this. Any help woukd be appreciated.Quote:

I have to mention now that not long after it goes into closed loop it will throw that code plus others and then go into reduced power mode/safety mode which is annoying when i had to drive up a couple of steep roads to get home lucky it was late last night and no traffic.
But when its cold 1st start it idles fairly good tip the throttle and it doesnt want to stall when dropping rpm like it was at 1st.
only changes i made was added some timing in base idle spark, increased idle rpm desired. After it went intp limp mode I increased the MAP vs RPM values by 10% in the diagnostics tab and the other MAP/MAF related DTC's aswell but this had no effect.
Im still learning this whole tuning thing. I done the engine myself resprayed it myself so i thought i may aswell try tune it myself. Im quite a quick learner and have a good memory so i may aswell give it a crack.

By adding a Cam, You have changed the Airflow Characteristics that the ECU expects to see. This is why you are getting the codes above.
Yayy I finally got my orginal post up. Ok. Just an update ive just managed to get it to idle fairly well tbh ive impressed myself. I do have one major problem and its a hot start it’s doesnt want to fire up and if it does it runs like a big until you give it a throttle full. But besides that a hell of a lot of reading posts on here, hpt and google ive kinda got the idea of it now but ive still got a looong way to go. So any help or advise would be great im a very quick learner and will listen to any information thsts given to me.

Thanks for the quick reply 1fastbrick. I’ve managed to sort those codes out now mate im still getting codes for steering angle sensor and traction control but they are linked. Also every now and then i get CMP codes, and a couple of others but they are intermittent i kinda have a feeling my alternator is on its way out and creating too much interference or feeding small amounts of AC current back into the system cause its mostly when at operating temp that all this happens.

So you got P0068 (MAP/MAF correlation) and P0106 (MAP) sorted out...?
