Mercruiser MEFI ECM's (MEFI-3 in particular)

Has anyone discovered what the model ECM/ECU which is being in the Mercruiser MEFI-3? I've tried contacting Delphi and they can't cross reference an Automotive ECM with a Marine unit. They forwarded my request and there is a chance they'd help... we'll see.
