Finally, click on "upload" to upload the file.
Then add any text to the post in the text box as normal.
Simon.
Ok, now I know how to upload. What do you need to see? A file from the tunong software or something from the scanning software?
the log file. It ends in ".efi" and is what you would be opening to see the logged data from the car.
I hope this worked!
In that log, you have "GM.AFR" selected. You need E38.AFRATIO_DMA.
When connecting to the ECM via "ScanTool" do the following...
- Connect the V2 to the laptop and to the ODB-II port
- Click on the green "connect" button ( top right in tune tool ) or press <CNTRL>-F3.
- Choose the Correct ECM ( E38 ).
- Once connected, click on the icon below the "red" button or press <SHIFT>-F2. This will validate all the PIDs.
- Click on the "PIDs" tab and in the "system" box, select E38
- Select "Air/Fuel Ratio Commanded"
If for some reason the PID is not supported, there may be an OS issue and tech support will need to check it out.
Simon.
That is what I do. In this log I have the PIDs selected that I have to, to make it work. I have selected the E38.AFRATIO_DMA. PID before but it gives no data.
[QUOTE=swingtan;116817]I really hope you didn't do this for the whole VVE
no no of course I didn't mate...only up to about 75kpa and about 4000rpm.....I still have to get the car back to finish the VVE table in mafless mode at full load you see. Got full load timing and MAF done but that may need revisiting once the VVE is finished. The car went from 240rwkw to 270rwkw with a 2WD Dyno Dynamics Dyno.
Mixtures at full load went from 11:1 to 12.7:1. I can see Holden just adding 10kw a year just by tweaking the factory tune lol
Thanks for your concern :)
NP, just making sure it was noted in case someone reading the thread didn't realise and tried doing the whole table.
You could easily make a filter to exclude any data where the commanded fuel was anything but 14.7 and then use a normal MAP to get the VVE correction factors.
EVI: upload a log where you have tried logging with E38.AFRATIO_DMA
