2014 LS3 with E38..voltage to APP

I am doing an install of a LS3 into a 2003 Nissan350z. I have the wiring harness installed and the car will start and idle. However I do not have any response from the gas pedal. I looked at the connector to the pedal and checked voltages. From what I understand, I think Pin A and Pin D should both have 5volts. In this case Pin D has voltage but no voltage to Pin A. Should both have the 5 volts at the same time or do I have a problem with the ECM..
