Sd cam phasing

I have been testing some 408 ly6 2009 and 2010 engines on a engine dyno with a eficonnection harness and core e38 ecm I found. looks funny with a vett gas petal upside down and a carb ball pulling in like a carb.engine lol. The virtual ve tuning works nice. I been playing with cam phasing and can't see it do anything with tuning and bi directional controls.logging every cam pid nothing except cam sensor pulse counts.no power moving up or down no change at idle.
With the cam phasing tables being in massair is that a problem?
Has anyone played with cam phasing on 6.0 suburbans and seen it doing anything ?
