04 duramax with running efi live presently. possibly changing tcm.

Problem possibly with tcm (transmission control module). present problem is the engine starts in the run position. changed: ignition housing, ignition switch, ignition lock set. still starts in run position (no glow plug warm up)
Thinking of changing tcm, have read in other blogs this is possibly the problem. Big question is did my original tune for EFI Live program the tcm? if so, or if not, can i now change it, or upgrade it to have the new one tune the tcm?
