We have debated this - and still feel that it would not do justice to put a "generic" tuning guide that (for example) would detail changes to a larger MAF or a longer duration cam, or different heads, or a race only Powerglide, or a combination of all or more. The possible combinations are endless.
Now, something like a "canned tune" (Predator, Hypertech, etc.) tutorial could be possible, but that is not the intent of this program, nor could/would it be applicable for every application individially.
Best suggestion is to detail the application intended use, specific modifications and all the rest of the details that are applicable and post here and at other forums with LS1 information,, and see what type of comments you get from the tuner experts out there.
Yup that is how most of us learn to deal with the PCM
