Start and stall issues.

Hey guys. First post here. If this is in the wrong location please let me know. I have an 01 Silverado that has head work, cam (223/231 610/617 110+2) Also has ported stock throttle body and intake. When I start the truck it always starts and stalls or starts and surges for 5 seconds. Same when I put it in gear. Im trying to figure out what I need to change to help it out. I just purchased efi live and am a newb so if I ask dumb stuff im sorry. Thanks for the help.
