This is the second vehicle already. I purchase a license for a controller, tune it, then a couple months later when I go to re-tune it it's not licensed. Screenshot of the latest one attached

If possible can you please either post up here or maybe send over to support@efilive.com a tune file from when you first licensed it, and now (as in today) re-read the ECM and send that tune along with the older one.
The old LB7 Diesel ECM does have a habit of corrupting its own S/N, but I can see this is an LS1B you are dealing with, they are normally rock solid.
Cheers,
Ross
At the current time I do not have access to the old file as I switched to a new laptop but I just wanted to express that this happened with 2 different LS1Bs already, my '01 Camaro and this customer's '06 Escalade. I realize there isn't much you can do to investigate if I don't provide the required info but thanks for the reply anyway. Next time I'll be sure to catch it and be more organized. I know my V2 stores all the records of controllers but those are weird numbers and don't seem to correspond to VIN or anything familiar
Thanks Roland but it is a case of without the files (old and new) we can't know what happened when we can't compare.
The license back up file in your V2 won't show us what S/N the PCM was originally licensed to, well it will but we don't know what the PCM reported back as the S/N at the time it was originally licensed....the tune file would contain that which is why I asked.
This isn't a known issue at the moment so if it does happen again please let us know before licensing again...assuming you have the original file from the PCM so we can see what the S/N used to be if it is reporting different.
Cheers,
Ross
got it thanks
